The daily schedule to the right shows what a typical schedule for a residential group looks like. A description of each componant are listed below.

Day Classes: Each teacher or group leader works with Eagle Bluff staff to customize a
multi-day day experience for their students. Classes are aligned with state academic
standards and provide students with hands-on, applied learning experiences in the following topics: Ecology, Nature Identification, History
and Culture, Challenge Skills, and Outdoor Skills.

Naturalist Programs: Students wind down after dinner and free time with a large group natural or cultural history presentation such as Raptors, STARLAB, or Backwoods Buttercup.

Evening Activities: This time is led by the teachers and adult chaperones. Teachers choose how to spend this time by selecting Eagle Bluff curriculum and supplies or by designing their own activity. Popular Evening Activities include the Night Hike, making Dream Catchers, Eagle Bluff Olympics, or entertaining around our Campfire.

Additional Programming: In addition to classes and activities, students get to practice hands-on conservation efforts through the Eagle Eye Resource Conservation Challenge and the FoodWISE food waste reduction and composting program while staying in the dorm and eating the dining hall. Eagle Bluff also offers an optional Journal specially designed created to complement your specific classes.
