Summer High Ropes Challenge

Experience the thrill of a high ropes course with your friends and family! Maneuver 30 feet in the air through a series of towers connected by various cables, ropes, and log events. Do this all while enjoying the best view of SE Minnesota! This confidence building experience is great for family outings, reunions, scouts, youth groups, and individuals. Note: If you have a group of 15 or more, contact Eagle Bluff to set up a private experience. Pre-registration and moderate physical ability are required.

Fossil Hunting in Fillmore County

Collect fossils older than dinosaurs! At Whispering Winds, Spring Valley, you will tour fossil collections of ancient sea creatures including Gastropods, Cephalopods, Trilobites, Fisherites, Bryozoans and Brachiopods. Then you’ll travel to 2-3 sites to hunt, all within 7 miles of Spring Valley, and collect your own fossils- guaranteed!

Brunch on the Bluff: Chronic Wasting Disease

Dr. Peter Larsen, Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, will be the featured speaker at our Brunch on the Bluff event September 8. Dr. Larsen's presentation is titled: Chronic Wasting Disease of Deer: Historical Perspectives, Current Research, and Future Directions. The talk will be followed by a delicious brunch of Baked Eggs Benedict, French Toast Pudding, and more!

Becoming an Outdoors Woman Weekend

Offered in conjunction with the MN Department of Natural Resouces, B.O.W. Weekend Workshops begin on a Friday afternoon and end Sunday after lunch. These workshops allow women to try their hand at 3 different outdoor activities under the guidance of a knowledgeable instructor in a safe and empowering setting.

Banquet on the Bluff

This year we will be celebrating our 22nd year of coming together to make Eagle Bluff experiences happen for all students. Fun games, unique items, delicious food and great company round out this festive and feel-good evening. Proceeds from the evening directly support our outdoor environmental education programming.

Trick-or-Treetops 

Join us the Saturday before Halloween for a SPOOKTACULAR night! 

Trick or Treat 30 feet off the ground as you traverse your way through wooden and wire elements that end with a zip line. Warm up by the fire with hot chocolate and s'mores. Costumes are encouraged!

Overnight Programs - Require a deposit and notification of a cancellation no less than 15 days prior to the event.
