Bringing Families and the Great Outdoors Together


All types and sizes of "families" are welcome! Bring your grandchildren, niece/nephew, big brother/sister group, parent/child, whatever is family to you, register now for a weekend of memories adventuring and exploring the outdoors. Learning hands-on skills, to straight up fun, ages and interests will be met in our classes and sessions lead by experienced instructors.

Weekend Fee


> $90 per person, if your family is three members or less

> $85 per person, if your family member has four members or more

New option:

> $70 per person: For a lower cost, you may opt to camp on-site in tents (not provided by Eagle Bluff) by the Root River. Primitive bathroom access, no showers. (May have limited access to shower in dorm, if needed.)


>Participants have the option of arriving on Friday night for an additional fee of $15/person for dorm lodging or $8/person for the campsite.


Fee includes lodging, all meals, class equipment and instruction. Lodging is dorm style (see left side of this page for more details). Bring linens or sleeping bags, towels and personal items.

Registration Details


Registration for mini and class sessions is on a first-come, first-served basis. Class sizes will be kept small for a better learning experience. Registration is done purely online this year, using the Eventbrite platform below. Please be mindful of selecting the correct ticket based on your family size.


On the registration form, you will rank session preferences for both Saturday and Sunday. All equipment is provided. 


Confirmation Packet


A packet with more general information on the weekend, directions to Eagle Bluff and a packing list will be emailed to you one month before the family weekend. It is also available HERE!


Cancellation Policy

If you cancel 21 days before the event, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within 21 days of the event, there will be no refund. 



One adult must be present with up to two children under age 18 in each session. Guardians are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times. See the class description list to see which activities have specific age requirements.


Lodging is on-site in our dormitory.

Friday evening is not included in the standard package price. For an additional $15/person, you have the option to add this night onto your package when registering. Check-in on Friday is from 5-8 p.m.


Don't want to stay in a dorm? Register for the camping option to pitch your tent(s) at a river side campsite just a 2 minute drive/10 minute walk away from the main campus! Parking, fire pit/wood, and rustic toilet available at site.
