Food & Special Diets

Eatin' Meals are served cafeteria style in our Dining Hall. The Dining Hall offers an entree, a selection of side dishes, salad bar, and fresh fruit for each lunch and dinner. At breakfast, an entree and a side, as well as fresh fruit and cold cereal are available.

Our kitchen staff are food safe certified and are friendly and approachable. In an effort to reduce our food waste, students and adults are encouraged to decide their own portions by telling our food service staff if they'd like to just "try" a small amount of one of the dishes, or
if they would not like any of a particular dish. Our dining hall motto is "Take what you can eat and eat what you take!"

As a part of our dining hall motto, each group participates in our FoodWISE program. Each school is given a goal for food waste based on the group's size and their own food waste cart in order to collect food waste. This amount is recorded daily and if a school reaches its goal of minimal food waste they may earn Eagle Eye points and a spot on our Golden Clean Plate Award.

PLEASE NOTE:
Our kitchen staff are able to serve people with special dietary needs. It is necessary to communicate any special dietary needs of anyone in your group BEFORE your arrival at Eagle Bluff. Contact our Residential School Coordinator if someone from your group needs a vegetarian or vegan meal, or if they have a food allergy or sensitivity.
