Your Journal

Here are a few directions and suggestions on how to make the Eagle Bluff journal best fit your needs:

• We provide two journaling options for your school: the Traditional journal and the CHAK journal. Schools that have signed up for the CHAK program should print off the CHAK-specific journal pages. If you have questions about either journal please contact our residential school coordinator at schools@eagle-bluff.org.
• To assemble either journal print the Student Journal pages then insert the Day Class, Naturalist Program and Evening Activity pages you would like.
  
  • Day Class Pages: You may use a Generic Day Class form for your classes -OR- print out Specific Day Class journal pages written to the classes you are taking. NOTE: Not all classes will have specific pages available. They will be added as they are created. If you are here for three days, you will need to insert a total of four Day Class pages. If you are here for five days, you need to insert a total of eight Day Class pages.
    
  • Naturalist Program Pages: There are also pages included for Naturalist Programs . These are designed to be used for any Naturalist Program -there are no program-specific pages. If you are staying for three days you will need to insert a total of two pages; if staying five, you will need a total of four.
    
  • Evening Activity Pages: Print out Evening Activity journal pages written to the activities you are taking. If you are staying for three days you will need to insert a total of two pages; if staying five, you will need a total of four.
    
• The Teacher Manual include tips for helping with journals as well as teacher’s keys for crossword puzzles and word finds.
• Feel free to omit pages or change the order. You may also add pages of your own.
• Please save paper by copying on both sides.
